Chief Medical Officer of Udhampur, Anil Manhas, outlined the extensive healthcare arrangements being implemented to provide timely assistance to the pilgrims. “We have established first-aid camps at ten different locations throughout the district. This initiative is designed to ensure that immediate medical attention is accessible to all pilgrims,” he stated during an interview.

As part of this initiative, the health department has deployed six fully equipped ambulances, strategically stationed near existing langars in Samroli. These ambulances are poised to respond rapidly to any medical emergencies that may arise during the pilgrimage, which draws thousands of devotees each year.
