In a bid to enhance security and ensure transparency, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has recently overhauled its donation counting procedures at the renowned Ram Temple in Ayodhya. This decision comes on the heels of serious allegations concerning the embezzlement of charitable funds intended for temple operations.

As part of these reforms, employees tasked with counting donations will now be required to undergo a rigorous two-tier security screening process before they can enter the donation counting hall. This initiative aims to bolster trust among devotees and to reassure them that their contributions are being handled with the utmost integrity.

Sources familiar with the matter disclosed to India Today TV that another significant change involves the introduction of a strict dress code. Counting staff will now wear dark blue uniforms devoid of pockets, a measure designed to eliminate the possibility of concealing cash or other items during the counting process.

Officials from the trust believe that these new protocols will not only mitigate risks associated with theft but will also serve as a deterrent against any potential malfeasance. The move reflects a growing commitment to maintaining high standards of transparency and accountability within the temple's financial operations.

In a statement, a representative of the trust emphasized, "Our primary goal is to ensure that every contribution made by our devotees is respected and safeguarded. With these new measures in place, we aim to restore faith in our processes and uphold the sanctity of our mission."

The Ram Temple, dedicated to Lord Ram, has been a focal point of cultural and religious significance in India, and thus, ensuring the integrity of its financial dealings is paramount. The trust hopes that these changes will result in a more streamlined and secure donation management system, ultimately benefiting the temple's community outreach and development projects.

As these protocols are rolled out, the trust plans to monitor their effectiveness continuously, making further adjustments as necessary to maintain the highest standards of security and service for its patrons.
