Jodhpur, Rajasthan – On July 4, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated the new terminal building at Jodhpur Airport, marking a significant milestone for the region’s aviation infrastructure. The event was attended by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and other dignitaries, highlighting the importance of enhancing connectivity in Rajasthan.

During his address, PM Modi emphasized the government's commitment to improving air travel accessibility for the common citizen through the modified UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme. This initiative aims to expand air travel options to underserved regions, thereby fostering economic growth and tourism.

The Prime Minister noted, "The new terminal will not only facilitate better travel experiences but also serve as a catalyst for economic prosperity in the region. With the UDAN scheme's modifications, we aim to connect more cities and make flying affordable for all Indians."

Following the inauguration ceremony, PM Modi is scheduled to travel to Balotra around 12:15 PM, where he will oversee the dedication, inauguration, and laying of foundation stones for various development projects valued at approximately ₹1.06 lakh crore. This extensive investment is expected to bolster local infrastructure and provide a significant boost to employment opportunities.

In Balotra, the Prime Minister will also address a public gathering, offering insights into the government's future plans for development and emphasizing the importance of public engagement in driving progress.
