JAISALMER: In a landmark event for India's petrochemical sector, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially dedicate the nation's first Greenfield Integrated Refinery-Cum-Petrochemical Complex today, July 4, in Pachpadra, located in Balotra, Rajasthan. This facility is touted as one of the most advanced refineries globally, marking a significant milestone in India's energy landscape.

The refinery, situated in the arid desert of Rajasthan, is regarded as an engineering marvel. During its construction, approximately 15 million cubic meters of earth were excavated, a volume that is six times greater than that used for the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza.
