Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 5 (ANI) — GK Energy Limited has made a significant advancement in the renewable energy sector by receiving a Letter of Empanelment (LoE) from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). This agreement involves the supply of 10,000 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS), with a total value of approximately Rs 235.92 crore.

The initiative is part of the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana, a program designed to support farmers by providing them access to solar-powered irrigation systems. This not only promotes sustainable agricultural practices but also aims to reduce dependency on traditional energy sources.

In a filing made to the stock exchange under the SEBI Listing Regulations, GK Energy expressed optimism about the potential impact of this project.
